Duathlon de Saint Ouen - SAINT-OUEN 2027

The Duathlon de Saint Ouen is a run-bike-run event held in Saint-Ouen, near Vendôme in France’s Loir-et-Cher department. Organized by Tri Attitude 41, it is accessible with the Vendôme train station located just over a kilometer away. The event has featured S, XS, and youth races, with separate starts for women and men in the Open S and XS categories, and a specific race for children aged 10 to 12. The distances are short: the S duathlon covers 15 km with approximately 220 m of elevation gain, and the XS covers 12.5 km with about 210 m. Shorter youth courses of 5 km and 2.5 km have also been part of the program. The race has attracted firefighters through the Challenge départemental pompier and Challenge UDSP 41, as well as young athletes, seniors, veterans, licensed triathletes, and unlicensed participants with a valid medical certificate. Its inaugural edition held significant sporting importance in the Centre region, being the sole duathlon in the regional league that season. It contributed to the youth challenge, served as a regional championship, and provided qualification opportunities for youth national championships and third-division races. Awards are presented on podiums after each race, and a tombola has also been part of the afternoon schedule.
