Duathlon du Caux is a run-bike-run event held in Yvetot, Seine-Maritime, Normandy, with its next edition planned for early March. The adult S format consists of a 5 km road run, a 20 km road bike leg, followed by a 2.5 km run. Yvetot Triathlon is the organizer, and the town's train station is approximately 1.2 km from the event, offering convenient access without a car.
The event caters to various age groups beyond adults. It features a Normandy youth duathlon championship for categories from benjamins to juniors, alongside shorter races for mini-poussins, poussins, and pupilles. The courses are designed within the local Normandy landscape, with distinct routes for children and juniors, differing from simple scaled-down adult courses. Spectators, including families and friends, contribute to the atmosphere. The region also provides opportunities for post-event excursions, with Rouen, Étretat, and Giverny located about an hour away, and local experiences like cider tasting or a Norman meal are suitable for the weekend.
