The Duo Nocturne Domessargues starts pairs after dark from the Domessargues chapel, with the main race beginning around 8 PM. The course covers approximately 14 to 14.5 kilometers, featuring about 450 meters of elevation gain. This is a short night race with significant climbing, not a flat village run.
The event also offers walking routes of roughly 11.3 kilometers, with walkers starting earlier. It marks the final round of the Trophée Gardois des Duos Nocturnes. The atmosphere is distinctly local: volunteers manage the welcome, finishers receive beer and sausages, René Reboul provides entertainment, and prizes are awarded not only to the top three duos in each category but also to the last three. Bib draws and a tombola offer additional opportunities to win prizes.
