Ekiden de Petite Camargue 2026

The Ekiden de Petite Camargue is a six-person marathon relay held in Vauvert, within the Petite Camargue region of Occitanie. The first runner starts at 08:45. Teams complete the full 42.195 km marathon distance over 5.2 km laps. Four runners each run one lap, and two runners each run two laps. Courir à Vauvert organizes the event, which typically attracts club teams from Gard and neighboring departments. The race emphasizes pacing, handovers, and group coordination over individual endurance. The loop course keeps participants near the race village, offering multiple opportunities to see fellow teams. Views extend toward Pic Saint-Loup, with entertainment provided along the route. Separate rankings exist for men's, women's, and mixed teams.
