Embusquade Trail is a winter trail-running event held in Busque, a small commune in the Tarn department of Occitanie. Taking place in February, it offers runners a selection of hilly off-road races instead of a single distance, with options from approximately 10 km to 31 km.
The routes traverse the Gaillacois natural region, incorporating significant climbing. The listed courses feature a 10 km with 230 m of ascent, a 15 km with 480 m, a 17 km with 520 m, and a 31 km challenge with about 1000 to 1150 m of ascent. The named races include La Belle Hivernale, Les Pieds Begon, and L’Embusquade, with each distance requiring its own bib.
