Emeraude Swimrun S - 11 km 2026

Emeraude Swimrun S is an 11 km swimrun on Brittany's Emerald Coast, held in September after the main tourist rush around Dinard has eased. It is part of the Triathlon SwimRun Dinard Côte d’Emeraude program, run by Émeraude Events, an early organizer of swimrun racing in France. The format involves athletes switching between open-water swimming and running without finishing one sport before starting the next. The swimrun route follows the coast more directly than the triathlon races, moving between emerald-colored water and the old customs trail. The course includes locations such as Saint-Sieu beach in Lancieux, Pointe du Nick in Saint-Lunaire, and Balcon d’Emeraude in Saint-Briac-sur-Mer. Dinard provides the event's seaside-resort backdrop, with striped beach huts, nearby villas, surf beaches, and rough GR 34 paths contributing to the race setting. The full event attracts nearly a thousand athletes, so the short swimrun shares the weekend with triathletes, trail runners, open-water swimmers, and other swimrun teams.
