The Enduro Trail de Nantua is a mountain trail race in the Haut Bugey region of the Jura Mountains. It is based at the Station de Trail du Haut Bugey – Montagnes du Jura. The race uses an enduro format where only timed special sections count towards the final result. The liaison sections between these timed stages are not raced, allowing participants to regroup and enjoy the scenery without the pressure of racing every meter.
The primary event covers 23 km with 1,200 m of elevation gain. For those seeking a less demanding option, the Enduro Trail Découverte provides a 9 km course with 500 m of climbing, suitable for novices or those returning to the sport. This format also allows for distinct awards for the best climber, descender, and overall rider, in addition to the general classification. The course offers participants a view of Mont Blanc.
