Ensemb mon Zézèr is a 12 km trail race on Réunion, listed for Sainte-Rose and starting and finishing on the Esplanade of Saint-Benoît. It is an XXS-format nature run with very little climbing by trail standards, with an announced elevation gain of 22 m. The race is for adults and is capped at 600 participants.
The format is the part that matters: runners enter as pairs, and both people in the duo must start together and finish together to appear in the results. Each runner registers individually, then creates or joins a two-person team. The event is linked to lovers, so the duo rule is not just logistics; it is the race’s whole idea.
