Foulée des remparts - Aigues-Mortes 2027

Foulée des Remparts is a 10 km road race held in Aigues-Mortes, a walled town in the Gard department of southern France. Participants begin at Stade Maurice Fontaine in the afternoon. The main race is limited to 600 runners with an entry fee of 9 euros. Prior to the 10 km event, athletics activities and children’s races are offered free of charge, ensuring the day caters to more than just adult runners. The route lends the race its name, winding past the medieval ramparts, towers, and gates of Aigues-Mortes before entering the Petite Camargue Gardoise. The latter section follows paths alongside local wildlife, vegetation, and salt marshes, offering a distinct setting compared to a typical town 10K. Now in its 38th edition, the event is noted for its atmosphere, well-suited to a capped race with accompanying family activities.
