About this race
The Foulée Suresnoise is a two-day running event in Suresnes, offering races for adults and children instead of a single main distance. The adult schedule features a half marathon, a 10 km, and a 5 km, while younger participants have 3 km, 1.5 km, and 750 m races. The children’s races and 5 km take place on Saturday, with the half marathon and 10 km beginning Sunday morning. This event has a history spanning over fifty years, establishing it as a local tradition rather than an isolated race weekend.
The children’s 750 m and 1.5 km routes begin and end at the Terrasse du Fécheray on Boulevard Washington. Organizers emphasize both the competition and the atmosphere, featuring four brass bands along the course and a consciously family-oriented environment. A medical center is available in the start village to assist runners before and after their race. The event also incorporates an environmental focus: aid stations use recycled cardboard cups to minimize plastic waste, and fruit is provided as part of the refreshments.
