The Foulées d'Angoulême is a running event held in Angoulême, located in France's Charente region. It features a 10 km race, a 5 km race, and a children's race. Grand Angoulême Athlétisme organizes the event, known as the Schneider Electric Foulées d'Angoulême, which has been held annually since 2007, the same year the club was established.
The inaugural event attracted 450 participants, completing three laps around the Saint-Cybard neighborhood. The current course begins at Stade Chanzy and proceeds into central Angoulême, passing through busy squares and along Rue Her. The route is flat and fast, designed for achieving quick times. Musical entertainment is provided along the course, with logistical support including bag check, shuttle services, and access to physiotherapists and osteopaths for post-race recovery.
