Foulées de la Folie begins and ends at the Salle polyvalente on rue Sadi Carnot in Fontaine-Notre-Dame, a village in the Nord department of Hauts-de-France. This early-October event offers 5 km and 10 km runs, a timed Nordic walk, 5 km and 10 km walking options, and an 800 m race for children. Les Marcheurs Fontenois organize the event, which supports the Octobre Rose campaign, with a portion of profits going to a related cause. The routes combine village streets with the Fontenoise countryside, providing runners with urban stretches and quieter rural sections instead of a simple out-and-back road course. The event is designed for solo runners, families, walkers, juniors, and Nordic walkers, featuring published results, podiums, race photos, a refreshment stand, and bag drop service. Its first edition attracted 785 participants, giving the race a local character while ensuring a lively start and finish area.
