The Foulées de Louviers is a Friday-evening charity race series held in the heart of Louviers, Normandy’s Eure department. It takes place after dark and is open to runners, walkers, families, children, friends, and work groups. Local organization is provided by Les Foulées, the City of Louviers, and Louviers Sport Events. The program features children’s races of 200 m, 400 m, and 1.4 km, alongside a 5 km race for more experienced participants; children’s bibs are priced at 1 euro.
The courses wind through central Louviers, with a hyper-center circuit that provides a compact town-center atmosphere. The race generates funds to assist a young person with a physical or mental disability in obtaining the necessary equipment for safe sports practice, with “Un défi pour Soham” identified as the supported association. By its fourth edition, the event sought to surpass a participation record of 1,300 individuals. A unique feature is “La Course des Tricheur,” a lighthearted race where taking shortcuts through the town-center route is part of the concept.
