About this race
Foulées Nocturnes en Montagne Noire is a night trail race held in Labruguière, Tarn, southwest France. Starts are at 19:00, sending runners out after dark onto the lower slopes of the Montagne Noire massif. The event features three distances: a 4.2 km run with 80 m of elevation gain, a 12 km route with 400 m of climbing, and a 20 km trail with approximately 850 to 950 m of elevation gain.
The race is organised by Les Trotteurs d'En Laure. The routes are named: La St Hilaire for the 4.2 km, Sentiers du Pioch for the 12 km, and Trail de l'Oustalou for the 20 km. Results have been archived across many editions, and race distances have changed over time, with past versions including routes around 10-13 km and 20-23 km. GPX tracks and course profiles are available. The primary challenge is running wooded, hilly terrain at night.
