Gâcogne Morvan Trail is a trail race held in Gâcogne on the first weekend of March for runners in the Morvan region. It offers three off-road distances: 10 km with 300 meters of climbing, 18 km with 600 meters, and 28 km with 900 meters.
The event was created by Morvan Tri Sports and Vertical Chaos Morvan to provide runners a place to test themselves in a family-friendly and competitive setting. For local trail runners, it serves as the start of the Morvan trail season, with options ranging from a short but hilly effort to a longer mountain-style run.
