Gaztelaia trail - Chéraute 2027

Gaztelaia Trail is a February trail-running and walking event held in Chéraute, located in the Basque hills. The Gaztelaia public school organizes this event, offering four distinct options: a 21 km trail run, an 11 km trail run, an 8 km walk, and races for children. The 21 km route is designed for experienced trail runners. The 11 km race includes significant climbing, with an elevation gain of 500 m. Participants in the 8 km walk have a dedicated route, and children have their own separate event. Anne Bidalun is the godmother for this, the event's second edition.
