The Gem Bike Aigoual Region Occitanie begins in L'Espérou, Val-d'Aigoual, France, located on the Mont Aigoual massif. This cycling event features road cycling, gravel, and cross-country mountain biking. The road cycling component offers two cyclosportive routes: the 76 km Quézac route with 1500 m of elevation gain, and the 122 km Fénioux route.
The Quézac route ascends to the Mont Aigoual summit and covers a significant portion of its distance within Lozère. The Fénioux route includes an initial loop over the Col de la Luzette before merging with the Quézac course. The event also incorporates a 60 km Gravel Aigoual ride, offered as either a race or a randonnée, alongside VTT tours and XC races for participants aged five and older, forming part of the regional championship. A combined challenge is available for strong riders, linking the road event with the VTT XC race. At the event's conclusion, a snack bar is provided.
