About this race

Glandass'Trail is a mountain trail event named after the Glandasse, a high limestone mountain south of the Vercors massif in the Drôme. Run in June, it uses the Hauts Plateaux du Vercors area around Die and Châtillon-en-Diois, with race formats ranging from short discovery trails to long mountain routes of around 60 to 70 km, plus middle-distance options and a relay toward Col de Rousset. The terrain is proper mountain running: passes, meadows, technical paths, and smoother runnable sections, with the Glandasse plateau sitting around 1,850 meters and Le Dôme rising to 2,041 meters. Châtillon-en-Diois gives the race its old village setting below cliffs and vineyards, while the wider course sits inside the Hauts Plateaux du Vercors National Nature Reserve. Sheep herds still graze in the area, vultures can circle above the route, and the rocky slopes are habitat for chamois, marmots, and ibex; climbers and mountaineers also use the same massif.
