The Green Duathlon de la Noix is a run-bike-run event held in Tullins, Isere, near Grenoble, organized by the T.I.GRE triathlon club. Its defining characteristic is the walnut grove setting, with the main course winding through the trees surrounding the town. The event includes open races alongside a higher-level D3 club competition, a semi-final for the French Duathlon Championship, attracting over 200 athletes from south-east France seeking qualification.
The event is designed for both beginners and groups, not exclusively for club specialists. The XS race consists of a 2.5 km run, a 11.2 km cycle, and a final 1.25 km run. The S distance begins in front of the Gymnase Chantal Mauduit. Additionally, there is a free children's duathlon, a duo option for two participants completing the entire race together, and team classifications for businesses, organizations, and young athletes. Tullins Fures station is located less than a kilometre away, providing convenient train access for a small-town duathlon.
