About this race

The Hoka Semi de Paris is France’s largest half marathon, with over 45,000 runners anticipated and one edition attracting 50,000 participants to central Paris. It takes place in early March over the standard 21.0975 km distance, on a road course with FFA Label Or status and World Athletics certification. The race is open to handisport athletes, first-time half-marathon runners, club runners, and faster road specialists seeking a time on a rolling route with under 100 m of elevation gain. The course utilizes Paris’s grand boulevards and passes major landmarks such as the Opéra National, Bastille, the Institut du Monde Arabe, and the Jardin des Plantes, with a bridge or viaduct crossing and some park sections interspersed with the city running. Pacers assist runners in achieving target times, aid stations are positioned every 5 to 6 km, and the event includes a race village, bag drop, toilets, supporter zones, and course entertainment. The race has a strong mass-participation atmosphere, yet it still yields fast performances, including a women’s course record set on International Women’s Rights Day.
