About this race

L'Automnale du Randon is an autumn off-road bike ride in Monts-de-Randon, starting from Saint Amans. Les Trailers du Randon organize it, offering three marked route options for mountain bikes, e-bikes, and gravel bikes. The available distances are 24 km, 40 km, and 59 km, with feed stops provided on the courses. Helmets are required for all participants. The routes traverse the Margeride plateaus. Depending on the chosen distance, they may pass by Lake Ganivet, below the castle of Randon, near the Saint Fereol chapel, or by the Fortunio tower. The organizers describe it as a friendly ride for those who enjoy trails and group events, sharing the same community spirit as their Randon Trail and Randon Nuit events. Participants are advised to check tire pressure and bring a repair kit, contributing to a practical, self-sufficient trail-ride atmosphere instead of a formal race setup.
