L'Enfer de la Boulette is a mid-April trail race held in Rouvroy-sur-Audry, a village within France's Grand Est region, specifically in the Ardennes area. The name translates to “The Hell of the Meatball,” and the event embraces this rugged character with two off-road distances: a 15 km discovery trail and a 29 km short trail.
The routes traverse woods and paths within the Ardennes Regional Natural Park. Runners can anticipate a route deeply integrated with nature, distinct from a road race featuring occasional dirt segments. The shorter 15 km race attracts more participants; the previous edition saw over 200 runners, while the 29 km had over 100. This positions it as a modest regional trail event rather than a large-scale race.
