L'escapade - Ensuès-la-Redonne 2026

L'Escapade is a 12.2 km foot race in Ensuès-la-Redonne, on the Côte Bleue near Marseille, held on a Sunday in November. Runners begin at 9:30 in front of the town hall, with bib pickup and late registration available earlier that morning. The field is limited to 500 participants, maintaining a local feel rather than a large road event. The route follows trails and forest paths, offering views of the Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding hills. Two aid stations are located on the loop, with a third at the finish line. A brass band plays as runners approach the final section. The race, organized by L'Escapade du Pied and led by Serge Sarde, is celebrating its 30th edition. Local schoolchildren participate through a drawing contest; the winning design is featured on the back of the race shirts, and all participating children receive a prize. The morning concludes with a bib-number draw for a trip.
