L'Orlysienne is a small road-running event in Orly, Val-de-Marne, held at Parc des Saules. It features four distances on the same morning: a 1.5 km children's race, a 2.5 km Octobre Rose run, and 5 km and 10 km races that begin together later. Avenir Sportif d'Orly organizes it with the City of Orly. The distances are short and accessible, with no race exceeding 40 meters of elevation gain.
The 10 km is the most formal, including timing and rankings, with a 10 euro entry fee and the standard license or French PPS health requirement. The 5 km is also timed but without rankings and is free to enter. The 2.5 km Octobre Rose race is untimed, free, and supports breast cancer prevention. Licensed and non-licensed runners meeting age rules can participate, allowing for club runners, locals, families, and those running for the cause. The event has a community atmosphere at the park, with bib pickup near the entrance opposite McDonald's. Refreshments, crepes, cotton candy, and sweets are available for purchase with cash.
