About this race
L'Xaltante is a mid-June trail and walking event held in Villeneuve-d'Ascq, Nord department, Hauts-de-France. The program features short, accessible distances: 10 km, 8 km, 5 km, and a 1.5 km route for children and juniors. The 10 km trail is the most popular, with walkers choosing 8 km or 5 km, and runners also able to select a 5 km trail. A handisport format is included, extending the event beyond standard trail runners.
The routes traverse preserved natural areas near Villeneuve-d'Ascq, avoiding a purely urban course. L'Xaltante gathers trail enthusiasts, experienced walkers, families, and handisport athletes for a day with a festive atmosphere.
