La Besace Nature 2026

La Besace Nature begins at the Saint-Martin-des-Besaces town hall, a village in Calvados, Normandy, and takes place in early December. This nature and forest event offers 9 km, 14 km, and 25 km distances. The format is intentionally relaxed, listed as non-timed, with the option for participants to run in duos. The routes are entirely rural, comprising approximately 60% trails and 40% asphalt, including a 9 km loop. The scenery features typical Normandy countryside, with meadows, apple orchards, hedgerows, cliffs, and sandy beaches mentioned in the race details. The organizer, the association Stoppage, courir pour mieux vieillir, uses the event to encourage physical activity for healthy aging. Consequently, the field is intended for beginners, health-conscious individuals, and seasoned athletes.
