La Boucle du confluent 2026

La Boucle du Confluent is a running event in Portet-sur-Garonne featuring timed 5 km and 10 km races along the Garonne River. The 5 km race consists of a single hard-surface loop with 400 bibs. The 10 km race utilizes the same 5 km loop twice, offering 800 bibs and including a drink stop midway. The event also includes two Boucles KIDS races: a 900 m race for children aged 6 to 9, and a 1500 m race for children aged 10 to 12, run on a mix of hard ground and grass. Portet Athletic Club is the organizer of this race, which has now passed its twentieth edition. The main races cater to various runner levels: the 5 km is open to the U16/Minimes category and above, while the 10 km is open from the U18/Cadets category. This allows younger club runners to compete alongside adults, beginners, and more experienced participants. The event also supports a charitable cause, with funds directed to a public utility association through donations, children's race entries, and a club contribution.
