La Calade de Cagnes is a 5 km and 10 km road race in Cagnes-sur-Mer, organized by US Cagnes Athlétisme with support from the town. Both distances start together, with the 10 km using a large loop and the 5 km following a shorter version of it. The race is built around old Cagnes rather than a flat out-and-back, so runners encounter town streets, climbs, and village lanes.
The course goes through the town center, climbs into the hills and the old village, and passes the Grimaldi fortified castle. From higher points, runners can see the sea and the Cagnes hinterland. The event is open to experienced runners, beginners, and families, with volunteers on hand along the route and around the race setup.
