La Corrida Sancerroise de Noël is a late-November road race held in Sancerre, located in the Cher department of central France. It is a short town corrida, not a long-distance event, offering 7 km and 3.5 km options, along with shorter races for children and juniors. Both main distances involve approximately 125 metres of elevation gain, meaning even the shorter race presents a distinct uphill challenge.
The course winds through the streets and narrow alleys of Sancerre’s historic old town, organized by Sancerre Running. The event supports local Téléthon activities, contributing to a community atmosphere distinct from larger city races. Past participation has been just over 100 runners, and the race provides essential amenities like aid stations and cloakrooms.
