La course des escaliers - Beausoleil 2027

La Course des Escaliers is a short, steep stair race in Beausoleil, covering 350 meters with 70 meters of elevation gain. The race uses 427 steps divided into five ramps, creating a sustained uphill effort distinct from typical road races. The schedule features relay races, individual time trials, a children's race, and a walking event, with relays commencing in the morning. The course segments the climb into ramps of 55, 41, 79, 63, and 189 steps, with the final section being the longest and most demanding. It attracts a diverse group of participants, including casual runners, trail enthusiasts, and marathoners, drawn by the straightforward yet challenging objective: ascend quickly, maintain momentum, and navigate the stairs efficiently.
