La Décathlonienne - Fouquières-lès-Béthune

La Décathlonienne begins at the Decathlon parking lot in Fouquières-lès-Béthune, Pas-de-Calais, with timed 5 km and 10 km road races scheduled for August. The course design is notably direct for a Decathlon-sponsored event: runners go through the store's interior, once for the 5 km and twice for the 10 km. Vaudri’Court & Bike organizes the event with Décathlon Fouquières-lès-Béthune, and each registration benefits the local association Idées Chouettes. The route is entirely on asphalt and connects four municipalities: Fouquières, Béthune, Vaudricourt, and Verquin. The 5 km consists of a single loop with approximately 10 meters of elevation gain. The 10 km follows the same loop, resulting in about 20 meters of elevation gain. The challenge lies not in sustained climbs but in short ascents, turns, and frequent pace adjustments. The course is marked and secured, featuring a refreshment station at the finish and an additional stop midway through the 10 km. Decathlon gift cards will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers for each distance, and all participants receive a personalized medal.
