La Festivale de Thann is a spring race series held in Thann, located in the Haut-Rhin area of France’s Grand Est region. All races commence and conclude at Place du Bungert. The event offers distances from 1.5 km and approximately 3 km for children, up to 5 km, 11 km, and a trail race of roughly 23 to 26 km for adults, varying by edition. Union Sportive Thann Athlétisme organizes the series, welcoming both licensed and non-licensed participants. Non-licensed runners must provide France’s PPS health declaration.
The shorter races for younger participants remain within the town's vicinity. Adult courses navigate Thann’s blend of streets, natural trails, and notable local sites. The 5 km event is named Le Rangen, the 11 km is L’Engelbourg, and the longest trail course features a significant portion of paths, potentially routing past Molkenrain. In collaboration with Institut Saint-André, the event promotes a Sport for All philosophy, accommodating a diverse field including children, local runners, casual participants, and seasoned athletes within the same afternoon. Aid stations are available along the routes and at the finish line.
