About this race
La Foulée du Cèdre is a short trail race in Villelaure, a village in Vaucluse, France. The 7.5 km option starts at 9:00 AM and climbs about 60 meters, making it a runnable nature outing rather than a mountain-style trail. The event is typically held in early June and also offers a longer 15.5 km course.
The route follows nature and forest paths around Villelaure, situated within the Luberon Regional Natural Park. The previous edition had over 100 participants, creating a local trail gathering atmosphere. Its slogan, “Pas d'exc(l)use !”, a play on the French for “no excuses”, lends the race an informal tone.
