La Marinade 2026

La Marinade is a seaside road race in Sainte-Marie-la-Mer, a village in the Pyrénées-Orientales near Perpignan. It is run every August, with evening starts for two distances: a 10 km race and a shorter 6 km option. The main 10 km uses a loop course, and both races fit the feel of a local summer event rather than a big-city race. The route stays close to the Mediterranean, using roads and paths along the seafront. The event is organized by Sainte-Marie’s municipal culture and animation service, with entry available online or on site. Runners need either an athletics license or a PPS health attestation, since the old-style medical certificate is no longer accepted. The race also raises support for three associations: Vaincre la Mucoviscidose, Petit Coeur de Beurre, and CouRires 66.
