La Mazerollaise takes place in late February in Mazerolles, a village in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department of southwest France. It offers timed road races and trail runs, with distances around 10 km, a half marathon, and longer trail options up to about 23 km, along with a leisure walk and children’s races.
The routes incorporate varied settings: runners will encounter road sections, trail terrain, forest, natural landscapes, and some village or urban atmosphere, rather than a single-format course. The event maintains a local character, having completed several editions, and accommodates diverse participants: trail runners aiming for the longer distance, road runners selecting the 10 km or half marathon, walkers, and younger children on their own courses.
