La Rivièroise is a small nature-running and hiking event in Rivières, Tarn department, southwest France. The routes traverse the Tarn area, primarily on flat ground, with short trail options around 6 km and 11 km, and longer flat courses of 9 km and 13 km noted in some listings. The trail races commence in the late afternoon, with an entry price of 12 EUR.
The course is designed as a discovery trail rather than a mountain race. The 6 km option features approximately 25 m of elevation gain, and the 11 km option has about 30 m. This makes it suitable for walkers, novice trail runners, and individuals seeking a local run without significant elevation challenges. Festi’river organizes the event. One past edition combined the race day with a Saint Patrick evening and included a donation to Rock 21, an association supporting children with Down syndrome through tutoring in written language and logical-math reasoning. Rock 21 also hosts a music festival near World Down Syndrome Day, with live rock performances funding their activities.
