La Ronde des Côteaux Glainois is a trail race in Glaine-Montaigut, a village in the Puy-de-Dôme near the Livradois-Forez natural park. Adult runners can choose 6 km, 12 km, or 26 km, and the event also gives children their own races over 300 m, 800 m, and 1,500 m.
The 26 km race is the toughest option, with 850 meters of climbing, fitting the Trail XS category. The routes are described as technical, making this more of a local trail day than a flat road run. The Comité des Fêtes de Glaine-Montaigut organizes it with help from local associations. Runners must bring a mandatory cup, a common low-waste rule at French trail events.
