All adult races start and finish in front of the Maison des Sportifs in Gréasque, a former mining village in Bouches-du-Rhône. La Ronde des Mineurs is a March trail and nature-running event organized by La Foulée de Gréasque, offering three adult options: 8 km, 14 km, and a 27 km race named Le Trail des Mineurs. The shorter routes primarily use DFCI fire roads and single-track paths within the communal forest, featuring approximately 140 to 150 m of climbing for the 8 km and about 240 to 250 m for the 14 km. The 27 km presents a significantly more challenging trail, with just over 1,000 m of elevation gain.
The long race follows a substantial portion of the 14 km route before proceeding towards Saint-Savournin, then incorporates a demanding 8 km loop within the hills of the Étoile massif. This loop passes near the Grand Puech lookout, crosses the Figuière valley, and approaches Mont Julien and the Grotte des Fées before a quicker descent back toward Gréasque. The event attracts several hundred participants and also features untimed children's races for ages 7 to 15. Since its 2009 inception, the finish has maintained a local character: a buffet offering miner's soup and beer, while children receive snacks, medals, and gifts.
