La Ronde des Sources 2026

La Ronde des Sources is a professional cycling criterium held in Saint-Amand-les-Eaux, within the Hauts-de-France region of northern France. The race commences from the Grand-Place, near the Abbatial Tower, and takes place in late August, serving as the concluding event on the post-Tour de France criterium circuit. Established in 2023 by a group of local friends, it rapidly garnered regional backing and attracted a crowd sufficient to fill the streets. It stands as the sole professional UCI criterium in Hauts-de-France, featuring approximately fifty participants and offering free roadside viewing. The race format is concise and straightforward: cyclists complete a city-centre circuit of approximately 3.1 to 3.2 km, undertaking 32 laps for a total distance of roughly 99 km. The course incorporates the Grand-Place and Avenue du Clos, allowing spectators to observe the peloton's repeated passages rather than its departure. Attendance typically ranges from 5,000 to 10,000, and the setup ensures fans are in close proximity to the riders.
