La rose canétoise - Canet-en-Roussillon 2026

La Rose Canétoise begins at the Théâtre de la Mer in Canet-en-Roussillon, with the morning program starting at 8:45. This event, now in its 11th edition, is a pink-themed charity run and walk, not a standard road race. The day raises funds for the League Against Cancer and promotes a public-health message about screening. The program features a sand walk; other events may fill before race morning. Over 4,000 people participated last year, with several hundred volunteers assisting annually, supported by local businesses and partners. Fati Bensaidane founded the event, and mayor Stéphane Loda and tourist-office director Audrey Andonegui have been involved since the first walk. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes, take part in the group warm-up, discover surprises on the course, and remain for music by Hugues Di Francesco (Al Chemist), the event patron.
