About this race
La Saint-Aubanaise begins and ends at Ferme de Font Robert in Château-Arnoux, located in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence village of Château-Arnoux-Saint-Auban. This trail event, held in early March, features four marked nature routes within the communal forest. These include three runs and one timed walk, with distances ranging from 8 km to 27 km.
The most challenging route, L'Enfer des Amarines, covers 27 km with 1,300 m of elevation gain. Le Défi du Rocher provides a 13 km option with 600 m of gain. For shorter distances, L'Express de Saint-Jean is 8.2 km and La Tranquille Marche is 8 km, both with 200 m of climbing. Participants will run in semi-autonomy on courses marked with ribbons and signs. Registration covers access to aid stations and a chip-timed bib. All participants must bring their own cup, as aid stations will not supply them.
