La saint sylvannaise - Saint-Sylvain 2027

La Saint-Sylvannaise is a nature race held at the Gymnase Pierre Boulé in Saint-Sylvain, Calvados. Les Sentiers Saint- Yannais organizes the event, with starts and finishes at the gym. The main options include a 16 km trail race, a 9 km trail race, a 1,000 m children’s race, and a 5 km hike for all. The 16 km race is for juniors and older, the 9 km is for cadets and older, and the children’s race is for younger school-age runners. The route follows Saint-Sylvain streets before heading onto paths around Soignolles, Poussy, and Valambray. Aid stations are provided on course: at 4 km for the short race, and at 7 km and 11 km for the long race, with drinks also available at the finish. The second edition saw 500 runners from six regions, plus 50 children in the youth race, 80 hikers, and 80 volunteers. The first edition, named “On court pour elles!”, donated 2 euros from each entry to a charity supporting mistreated women, and the event provides reusable cups to participants for ecological reasons.
