La Super Collet - Allevard is a ski mountaineering race held at Le Super Collet above Allevard. All three routes begin at 8:30 AM. It accommodates various skill levels: Course A ascends over 1,500 metres for U20 men, U23, senior, and master racers. Course B ascends over 1,000 metres for U18, U20, U23, senior, and master categories. Course C ascends over 800 metres and is open to all participants.
The more challenging routes feature couloirs and a secured ridge, distinguishing them from a basic uphill skin track. Course C serves as an introductory option, is untimed, and does not require crampons or a via ferrata kit, offering a more accessible introduction to ski mountaineering racing. The event attracts both novice racers and seasoned competitors, supported by volunteers offering encouragement and a lively atmosphere near the finish, particularly on the final ascent to Plagnes.
