La Tomblainoise is a road race held in Tomblaine, a town in Meurthe-et-Moselle within France's Grand Est region. The event features a 10 km race named le 10 kil à Didier, a 5 km race called JC PELTIER, and a 1.5 km children's run for ages 3 to 11. It typically takes place in mid-April, with staggered starts late in the morning. The 10 km and 5 km are timed and measured, though the measurement is not official, making it more of a friendly competition than a certified record event.
The 10 km course is flat, largely following a bike path alongside the Meurthe river, with water provided at the halfway point. The 5 km race covers half of the 10 km loop, and the children's race is untimed. Prizes are awarded to the top male and female finishers, with additional category prizes for the 10 km. All 10 km participants receive a gift. A post-race lottery, where participants must be present to win, adds a local characteristic. Recent events have attracted approximately 700 participants across all races, creating a lively atmosphere without being an overwhelming gathering.
