Lake Züri 100 is a 106-kilometer ultra trail starting and finishing at Albisgüetli in Zurich. Runners tackle it in late March, with around 180 participants, giving it the feel of a focused mountain-running event rather than a crowded city race.
The route traces the hill ridges surrounding Lake Zurich, accumulating approximately 3,200 meters of elevation gain. It is intended for experienced runners, organized by fellow runners, and a finish can serve as an official qualifier for the Western States Endurance Run lottery.
