The Lalique Moder Trail is a nature trail race held in Wingen-sur-Moder, a village within the Vosges du Nord Regional Natural Park in northeastern France. Participants can select either a 14 km course featuring approximately 400 m of elevation gain or a longer course of about 24-25 km with roughly 700 m of elevation gain. Both races commence at the local gymnasium, positioning it as a contained, community-focused event rather than a point-to-point competition.
The courses traverse the mixed forests characteristic of the Vosges du Nord, offering shaded stretches, varied trail conditions, and routes alongside the Moder valley. The inaugural event, organized by the Cecias association, garnered significant local participation: 499 race numbers were claimed in less than 15 days, with an additional 100 individuals on a waiting list. The participant base is predominantly regional, drawing runners from the surrounding areas.
