The Le Mans Urban Trail guides participants through the historic center of Le Mans, a city in Sarthe province recognized globally for its June motorsport event. This urban trail race takes place in late March, offering shorter distances of 6 km and 9 km, a 19 km Cryotera race, a combined duo relay on the same 19 km course, and children's races in two categories.
The course crosses the Cité Historique de Plantagenêt, leading runners past medieval streets, alongside Gallo-Roman ramparts, and by local sites including the Montesquieu and Bellevue schools. The 19 km route includes approximately 300 metres of elevation gain, distinguishing it from a standard city run. The shorter distances and walking options cater to novices, families, and those seeking a pedestrian exploration of Le Mans. The ENDURANCE 72 organization is responsible for this event series.
