Le Relais des Diables

Le Relais des Diables incorporates the number 666 into its running joke and race format: a minimum of 666 runners are anticipated, and the loop measures 6.66 km. This timed nature relay takes place in Nouzilly, commencing from Stade des Marronniers at 4:00 PM in September. Nouzilly Athlétisme is the organizer, and teams are formed as pairs, welcoming friends, colleagues, couples, and families to compete together. The relay features a straightforward yet unconventional setup: Runner 1 completes the 6.66 km loop solo, then joins Runner 2 to run the same loop again as a pair. This results in Runner 1 covering a total of 13.32 km, while Runner 2 runs 6.66 km. The event, now in its third edition, embraces its "diabolical" theme with a communal party post-race and optional LRDD jerseys available for purchase during registration.
