About this race
At 1,650 meters in Ceillac, within the Queyras Regional Natural Park, the Snow Trail du Queyras takes runners onto snow-covered trails in February. This winter trail race, organized by Grand Raid du Guillestrois-Queyras, offers two distances: the 23 km Elite route with 1,100 meters of elevation gain, and the 12 km Sport route with 500 meters of elevation gain.
Both races begin in the morning from the village, following bib pickup and a brief orientation. The event is relatively new, with only a few editions held so far. Its organization is functional, featuring online registration via SPORTIPS, bib collection at the village hall, and a pre-race recon run for participants to view the courses. The Bramousse pass may be omitted if safety conditions require it, acknowledging the nature of a mountain snow race.
