Lélex Pays de Gex Cyclo begins and ends in Lélex, a mountain village near the Jura mountains and the Swiss border. This cyclosportive takes place in the Monts de l'Ain and the Jura massif, with participants riding high roads through forests, mid-mountain areas, and open sections offering views toward Mont-Blanc.
The route features the Côte de Lajoux, Côte de Giron, and Col de Menthières, making climbing a central element of the event. Portions of these roads are also used by professional riders in the Tour de l'Ain, providing amateur cyclists an opportunity to ride terrain with a racing history. The climbs reveal views across the Alps, but they are challenging ascents.
